Where the website is accessed from the EU/EEA, the GDPR may also apply. Personal data is processed lawfully, in good faith, and proportionately, and only for the purposes described below.

Data Processed When You Visit the Website When you access this website, our hosting provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser transmits, in so-called server log files. This may include: - the date and time of the request - the amount of data transferred - a notification of successful retrieval - the browser type and version - the operating system used - the referrer URL (the previously visited page) - the IP address - the device type (for access via mobile devices) - the requesting provider

Purpose and Legal Basis This data is processed to establish and maintain a stable connection, to ensure convenient use of the website, to evaluate system security and stability, and for other administrative purposes. The processing is based on Helvoil SA’s overriding legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional website (Art. 31 revFADP). Log data is stored only for as long as necessary and is then deleted or anonymised. Retention period: log files are retained for 90 days and then deleted.

5. Hosting, Media Delivery and Data Transfers This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. Most website images are delivered directly from Helvoil's hosting environment. The home-page hero video and its poster image are delivered through Cloudinary Ltd.'s media delivery network. When these services deliver website content, they may process technical request data such as IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, and request date and time. Technical data may be processed outside Switzerland. Helvoil SA ensures that international transfers are covered by an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as recognised standard contractual clauses.

6. Contact Form When you use the contact form, Helvoil SA processes the information you provide, including your enquiry category, name, company, email address and message, to respond to your request. The form is processed by Netlify, Inc., the website's hosting provider, and transmitted to Helvoil SA by email. Form submissions are retained for up to 30 days and are then deleted. Delivered messages are retained by Helvoil only for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and meet applicable legal obligations. Form data may be processed outside Switzerland subject to the safeguards described in section 5.

7. Cookies and Local Storage This website does not use advertising cookies, analytics, trackers, or similar behavioural technologies. It may use technically limited browser storage solely to remember a visitor’s language preference if additional languages are introduced. Browsing behaviour is not profiled.
